Cybersecurity Instructor - MS/HS Program (Part-Time)

The Job: 

We are seeking a part-time Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team to assist in the development and delivery of our signature  cybersecurity career exploration program.

What You Will Do:

  • Support curriculum research and development in collaboration with other instructors.
  • Prepare training materials including slides, handouts, and lab exercises.
  • Assist with evaluation, setup, & configuration of virtual lab environments for hands-on activities.
  • Effectively manage workplace setting and build camaraderie between students and instructors.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cybersecurity to enhance instruction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or training program focused on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • CompTIA Sec+ or other related cybersecurity certification is highly desired.
  • Sound understanding of basic cybersecurity and networking principles and concepts is required.
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, Python, and PowerShell is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to explain complex concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and complete deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Willingness to inspire students by infusing enthusiasm and empathy into instruction.
