Are you passionate about technology and enjoy working with youth? Join our team as a Cybersecurity Camp Counselor and help inspire the next generation of digital defenders! This is a great opportunity for high school or college students interested in cybersecurity, computer science, or technology education.

As a Cybersecurity Camp Counselor, you’ll lead campers through interactive activities, hands-on challenges, and team-based projects that introduce the foundations of cybersecurity. No expert-level knowledge required — just a strong interest in tech and a desire to support, guide, and have fun with campers!

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and support campers during daily activities and challenges
• Assist lead instructors during cybersecurity lessons and labs
• Facilitate tech-related games, discussions, and team-building activities
• Promote online safety, digital ethics, and responsible tech use
• Serve as a mentor and role model for campers
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging camp environment
• Help with daily setup, cleanup, and tech troubleshooting

Attend all required training sessions and pre-camp meetings

Qualifications

• Must be age 16+ by the start of camp
• Enthusiastic, dependable, and enjoys working with teens
• Interest in cybersecurity, coding, or digital technology (no advanced experience required)
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage group dynamics
• Prior experience in camps, tutoring, tech clubs, or youth programs is a plus
• CPR/First Aid certified is a plus
